Sydney, J uly 9. A sensation has been caused b'y the production of Parliamentary papers which disclose the fact that the guns at Steed Point Battery have not been fired since 1876. The result is they are now choked with rust. The battery in question is not important, but apprehensions are felt that other batteries may have been similarly neglected. It has been decided to hold an inquiry into the matter,
