FnoM ]\Cn Wm. Haddow, J P., of Nelson :— " Allow mo to add my testimony to the value of the Te Aroha Hot Springe. A fortnight ngo I arrived here, suffering from insomia N I was advised to begin by- using No, 6 bath. Thißl continued to do for the first few dayß, taking. a bath both morning and evening. Latterly I have used No. 2 bath, and this, combined with the admirable shower baths and drinking the mineral water, hpp had a beneficial effect upon my health, which I am glad to Bay has been thoroughly restored. I am convinced the merits of your springs and mineral waters only require to be more widely known to begteatly appieoiated and patronised by numbers of of visitors and invalids who as \ yet are unacquainted with their wonderful curative properties." Mb Jobiah Tutchen, Ginborne, makes the following entry in the Visitors' Book at the Domain Board's office :—": — " I brought Mrs Tutchen here quite helpless, so much bo that I had to carry her out of her bedroom to the bath chair. By the end of the first week her health had so much improved that she was not only ablo ts proceed to the baths by herself but able to walk about the grounds without assistance. The improvement continued durthe sec ond week, an iby the end of the third week her health was so restored through the use of the baths that we left for home, us blio believed her-elf quite cured from that painful affliction — rheumatic fever. The bath used by Mrs Tutchen wna No. 2, with electric battery; No. 3 bath-house."
