Mr John Davies, C.M.G., M.L.C, Chairman of the late Casual Labour Board, who was proceeded against on charges made by the Royal Commission appointed to inquire into the working of ihe Board and their mode of spending public moneys, has been acquitted, a pvima facie case not having been made out.
