Prices for ox hides ranged from 3£d to 4£d ; cows, 2{d to 2fd ; "calfskins, 4£d to 4^d the Ib ; ox hides, 22s 9d to 24s od ; heavy 'salted ox hides, 25t> to 37s 6d each ; butchers' skins, 3s lOd'to 4s' 7d;' station skin's, Is 6d to4s 4d.eaoh, ; tallow, I6s the cwt.
