Waitoa Road Board. (From our own Correspondent )
Tbb ordinary monthly meeting- of the Waitoa Road Board was hold on Saturday last, notwithstanding tho extraordinary downpour of rain. Present: Meßsrs W. I\ Chopinoll (in the chair). J.Horrell, and J. Tnrnbull. Mr Pavitt, the Engineer to the Board, was alno present. Minutes of the previous monthly meeting weie rend and confirmed. Tenders for formation Lovogrove's Road ; The following tenders were received for road formation on Lovegrove's road : Ja>i. OBrien, £29 10s (accepted) • R. Voysey, £34 lOs ; Bellamy and Lusby, X/OV IvB, > Work authorised: It was decidod to deep n the ditch on the ro.id by Ngutuinanga, repardinof which Mr Jones had written to the Board, on condition th.it he (Mr Jones) pay half the cost of deepening it, and of spreading the suitable vtnS. dug out on the road. Accounts : Accounts amounting to £45 19d 6d were passed for payment,
