Of the quantity of wheat required to supply the deficiency in this colony, considerably more than one-third has ai rived or been arranged. As the market is at present shaping, prices seem likely to give little inducement foi futther shipments fiom California for some time. Already business is being done at prices that preclude the possibility of piofit.
