THE ROTTEN RIGGING

NO FAULT OF TKE CONTRACTOR. In connection with the complaint that has been made as to the stability of the Dart's rigging, ib is due to the contractor, Mr George Niccol, to state that he was in no way responsible either for the quality ot the rigging used or for the manner in which it was set up. The ringing put on .the Dart included portions of the old ringing and new rigging obtained from Sydney, and it was set up by the Dart's own crew. Whatever blame, therefore, may exist bhould be put upon the right shoulders.
