It is now stated that the Committee of the ' Clan-ria-Gael tried Dr. Cronin because he accused Alexander, Sullivan of malfeasance as a pretence, in order that he might expose the' working of the Society and Benefit "the Government of Great Britain in the eyes of the " Times "iCommission. ; > , - Mr Sexton, M.P.,~was examined today before the Commission. He refuted Major Le Cafon's statement that he assisted the escape of.Brennan to America. He was unable to account for the missing funds of the League.
