REPRESENTATION ACT. Wellington, June 24.

As an outcome of this forenoon meeting Mr Seymour has consented to introduce an amending bill increasing the quota in favour of the country over the towns. Under the Representation Act of 1887 from 18 to 33 per cent, country members will support the measure. They decline to believe for a moment that the Hare system will be carried.
