ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING.

CuiiiSTCjiußcn, June 17. At the annual meeting of the Canterbury Amateur Athletic Club, the Secretary was instructed to send the following circular to the Clubs belonging to the Athletic Association : "That in the opinion of this Club, the time has come to establish a regular Championship Meeting to be held for the firsttime next Spring at Dunedin or Christchurch. " A committee was formed to consider the question of allowing members of other clubs to compete at this Club's Meeting free.
