THE TURF DISPUTE.

In the arbitration case before the Jockey Club, in reference to the longstanding dispute between Sir George Chetwynd and the Earl of Durham, the former stated that he was positive the alleged Jockey Ring never had any existence, He admitted purchasing some of Chailes Wood's (the jockey's) horses, the price to be contingent on the amount of the horse's winnings.
