Mejsrs Alfred Buckland and Sons' WtBKLY Rispokt. — At the Haymarket during the past week meadow hay has brought from 2s 6d to 3s 9cl the cwt; oaten sheaves, 3s 3d to 3s 9cl ; chad', 3s 6d to 43 ; oats, 2s lid and 3s the bushel ; potatoes 40a to 52s 6d the ton. Horses were yarded in usual numbers ; unbroken colta from Wairoa South ranged from £4 to £6l0s; hacks, £2 to £7 ss; a black gelding, £14; giey horse from Helonsvillc, £20. At the hide and skin sale, Tuesday, both hides and skins wcrj 5n greater quantity than usual, and sold freely. Heavy 0x, 41d to 4ld, or 30a each; extra stout, bid, or £1 13s 4J, to sjd, or €1 17s 6d each ; me dium,2kl to 4d; cow hides, 2ld to 3Jd ; calfskins, 3±d to 4\d the IK Station ekins brought from ls'to 2s each ; butchers' ekins, from 2s to 3s 6d ; tallow, 1£« 6d the cwt. At the private at Pukekohe, satisfactory prices were obtained, dairy cows being in demand at higher va ucs. At Renmera on Thursday dairy cattle at their profit were required at full values ; store cattle sold more freely. Fat cattle were in short supply : heavy oxen at lower values, but cows and light weight steers firm at late quotations. Sheep, in full number, were slightly lower in price. Calves p'ontiful and of good quality, aold fairly well. Pigs abundant; wellbred pigs, both fat and store, were in demand at satisfactory prices, but coarse pigs at conclusion of sale were of very low values. Dairy cows ranged from £5 to £6 10s ; dry cows, 25s to €2 2s 6d each ; heavy weight oxen, 13s ; medium and light weight. 15s ; cows, 11s to 14s the 1001b ; wethers, fully 2d; ewes, l£d to l^d the lb; six months old calves, 18s to 30s ; 10 weeks calves, 16s to 20s each ; lamts, 7s 6d to 9s each were the prices obtained.
