ACCIDENT AT TARARU. Thames, May 16.
Captain Macgill, of the cutter Lily, met with a serious accident last night. The cutter was lying off Tararu whe-i a squall came on, and the captain deemed it desirable to make for tho harbour. While heaving the anchor, the fall bit of the winch broke, and the handle struck him on the forehead just over the eye, iutlicting a nasty gash. He was taken to the Hospital.
