Gold RyruKNs. — During bhe past month a total of 4,],480z8 ot gold wna obtained from tho various aistcicts. .as follows : - Thames, 3.9300z8 JOdwts ; Coromandel, 187ozs 10dv\ts ; Ohinomuri, 30oza.

Big Pumj\ — A contract has been let by the Diainage Board for painting the big pump engine-house, the price being £18 9s.

Camuria. — Hie leader in the intermediate drive below No. 2 level is still somewhat split up, but colours of gold are eeen in the quartz. The No. 7 leader should be met with any niotnent, at the drive is run in a distance oi 22 feet. The No. 3 hangingwah leader lias ueen driven upon about 6 feet, but as only one shift is employed heie, process is not very speed y^ though the country is excellent. The leader, which is 10 or 12 inches in width, carries very nice minerals. Theio is nothing fresh to report from the leading stope to the east of the rise, except that 10 feet of the leader are now stripped, and a breaking-down will take place in a day or two.

Isvav Aluurkia. — Ihe contractorb have driven 6 or 7 feet on the Sor»3 of Freedom reef.
