The Maori footballers |>la\rd their first match in Australia since their return, against Maryborough, yesterday. The match was played under r,he Australian Association rules, and ir was evident from the start that the Maoris were not well acquainted with the g^me. They, however, showed splendid kicking power*. Mriiyborough eventually won by six e;oals and six behind s, to one goal and two behinds 1 . Nahua secured the goal for the natives.
