Xot jasper walls, nor Rates of pearl, Nor golden crownb are given, But peace shall clothe immortal souls And happiness be heaven. Not diamond-* glitt'ring on each breast, Nor silver 'nuath our feet, . But love, indwellingin each heart, -Shall make our joj s complete. Not angels' wings, but angel-thoughts ; Not cherubs' harps and crowns, But bliss to know that Wrong is dead And Sorrow nevtr frowns. To look upon the buried past (The faded flow ors ,of May), And see our blossoms glorified And beauteous in array ; To know the Master's gentle smile Shall beam upon each lace.
