DEATH UNDER CHLOROFORM. Blenheim, May 13.
A man named Michael Dowling died coday while undergoing an operation for cancer, in the hospital. He had the chloroform against the advice of the doctors. Dr. Cleghorn operated and Dr. Nairn administered, and before the operation was over the patient suddenly ceased to breathe.
