j\lr A. J. Balfoi r, Chief Secretary for heland, has publicly thanked MrHqnniker Heatoti for his efforts to secure the settlement of the Vandeleur difficulty. In doing so he expressed a hope that the princip'cs of aibitration in sel'lement of these disputes wouid extend.
