Thk " Freeman's Journal " preserves a neutral attitude on the question of abolishing the position of Viceroy of Ireland. Et however, protests against Prince Victor being foisted on Ireland, although it says it is possible the residence of the Prince of Wales in Ireland would have a beneficial effect.
