Waiorongomai, Thursday. Old Accident Relief Funi> : The adjourned meeting of members of the above fund was held in the Public Hall this evening. Mr James Samson, senr., presided. i Tbe Chairman stated that since the previous meeting, the old Committee had been invited to be present this evening and explain their views regarding the transferring of the old fund to the new, but, with the exception of MrTaylor,they had not come ; and it rested with the meeting to determine what farther steps should^be taken in regard to this matter. A letter was read from Mr John Goldsworthy apologising for his absence, and stating that he was anxious that the old fund should be transferred over as soon as possible, on condition that it be rnade^ a reserve fund, and also recommending that the Association be regis tered .
