MYSTERIOUS DEATH.
Blenheim, May 2. The body of a man unknown has been found in an unoccupied house at Maitai Valley. It; was far gone in decomposition. By the side was a five-chamb ered revolver, one of which was fii ed off. The body has nob yeb been examined, so no wound has been found. There is evidence of an attempt by deceased to smother himself with charcoal. On the body was a pocket miirr and a leather case, on the inside of which was written in pencil " Watson."
