The hacholor is feeling good, Anfi c\c< ins himself » lnoky wight ; He saws find splits no kindling wood, He lias no kitchen lire to light.
"\V lien day is done his cares are o'er, And once in bod he takes his cusp. ; He need not lise to walk the floor These chilly nights, a child to please,
Fi.rliim there aie no household cares, The breakfast bell his slumber breaks, He dresses anil descends the stairs To oatmeal mush and buckwheat cakes.
For him life's vivi-r smoothly mns, He's happy, jolly, and content ; He lias no wife and little ones On whom his earnings must be spent.
Let him enjoy it while lie can, When age and loneliness shall come He'll wish he was a married man With sons and daughters,wife and homo
