DRAUGHT ITEMS.

A draughts match between K. Boswell' of Christchurch, and Mr Boyd, ot Dunedin, took place recently in the presence of a lar^c number of spectators. Four games were played ; Mr Boswell won three, and the other was a draw. A match for the championship of the Christchurch Draughts Ulub has been arranged by Messrs H. W. Kay and W. Tonkins.

A correspondent sends the following positions for solution :—: —
