COMMERCIAL. THAMES CATTLE MARKET.
At Fleming and Co.'s weekly sale of fat cut tie which was held on 17th inst at their yards, Paiawai, Thames; they leport : — Only a medium suppty were y aided. Some pens of steers were withdrawn the prices offered not being satisfactory to the seller. Steerfi sold at from £4 10s to £5 5s each, being equul to 14s per lOOlbs ; heifers sold «t from £2 10s to £2 17s 6d each, being equal to 12s to 12h 6d per lOOlbs. A full market of sheep were yarded but several p*>ns of them were also withdrawn, prices offered not being high enough to satisfy sellers ; a few pens of wethers sold at 10s 3<l ; good ewes, 10e ', lambs shorn, 7s to 7s 6d , otovu pigs ; 7s G«] to 12s Gd.
