The reserve in the Bank of England is £13,956,000 and the percentage of reserve to liabilities 43J. Consols are 98J, quiet. New Zealand four per cent, loan, 103£,
and market active. Australian wheat, 39s 9d, and market •weaker. New Zealand, 395, with weaker market. Woollen sheepskins show a slight rise. The home and foreign wheat trade is eager. For Australian wheat, new crop on the passage, buyers are offering 36s 6d. For New Zealand, on the passage the average is 34s 9d.
