WESTERN AUSTRALIA. PROPOSED COLONISATION.
London, April 19. Sir F. Napier Broome, Governor of Western Australia, has written to Lord Knutsford, suggesting thac one million pounds should be spent in establishing a national colonisation scheme in the south-west corner of the colony, and saying that it vrould prove highly successful, while a larger operation would be more than selfsupporting.
