SUDDEN DEATH AT WAIHI.
On Fridnj- afternoon last, Mt-m Ifattnn, « widow who lived with her sons nt W.iihi r died very suddenly nod after only a faw houis illness. The dentil was reported to Constable Mitchell, of Pacro.i, tlio samenight, and Mr Kenny, J.P., being unable to attend owinsr to piior engagement", theCoroner,Di Kilgour, Thames, was ooimnnnfcated with on Saturday, who replied stating he was unuble to come up and hold an inquest himself, but requesting Corn-bible Mitchell to get a Justice of the Peace to dp so. Mr Ilott, J.P., Te Aroha, was then telegifiphcd to on Saturday afternoon, and arrangements made to bold the inquest at the house where deceased lay, on Sumlay morning at nine o'clock.
