Pursuant to "The Road Boards Act, 1882," with its amendments, and " The Regulation of Local Elections Act, 1876,'* with its amendments, I, the undersigned, hereby give public notice that- an EL FICTION will take plaoo on SATURDAY, tho 4th day of May, 1889, for the return of five duly qualified persons as members of the Waitoa Road Board , I appoint the Sohool house, Morrins-* vilje, as the place, and SATURDAY, tho 27th day o£ April, 1889, up to noon, as the time for the NOMINATION o£ CANDIDATES.
