SAN FRANCISCO MAILS. THE FORTNIGHTLY SERVICE.
Sydney, April 11. The Postmaster-General says that after careful consideration, he is unable to recommend the acceptance of Mr Creighton's proposals. He states the whole matter can only be settled after consultation with Great Britain, New Zealand, and America" or Canada. Whh regard to the renewal of the present contract, the Post-master General is negotiating wilh the Union Company.
