'FRISCO MAII SERVICE.
It is the inlenfcion of the PostmasterGeneral to renew the contract for the San Francisco mail sevvico for another year. No final decision has been arrived at, but this course will probably be adopted in view of the fact that the proposal of the Canadian-Pacific Company- are not yet sufficiently matured. The time is near at hand when the contract with Messrs Spreckels and Co. will cease, and the extension of id for 12 months will allow of a further consideration of the Canadian proposals.
