TENDERS are invited for the SUPPLY of TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY SETS of Mining Timber (Kauri, Rimu, Rata or Birch) ; to be delivered at the mouth of the new drive, No. I Level, on eastern side of the hill. Specifications may be seen at the office of tho Te Auoha and Ohinemuri News, Te Aroha, whfi'e tenders will be received up to noon on FRIDAY NEXT, April 12th, 1889 ; to be addressed "Tho Mamwei, Champion G. & S. Mines, Tender foi Supplying Timber."

IT having been proved to me this 19th day of March, that NO VALUATION LIST HAS BEEN_ PREPARED for the Te Aroha Town District, as required by the "Rating Act, 1876," I now appoint Mu FRANCIS PAVITT as VALUER to m.ike such LIST, and the 29th day of March, 18S9, is the date fixed for its completion . It « ill be OPEN FOR INSPECTION at the Courthouse, Te Aroha from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., from the 29th March to 13th April (Saturdays nnd Sundays exceptert), and ALL OBJECTIONS to the said LIST must be left at the siid Courthouse on or before tlu 15th day of Apt il, 1889. 11.
