Naquet, member of Senate, and a colleague were acquitted on the charge of belonging to a secret society, and were,condemned to pay a fine of ioo francs each for belonging to an illegal society. On the decision being announced, there were * triumphant cries of " Vive Boulanger." ' A decree making a High Court of Justice for the trial' of cases in which accused are charged with conspiracy against the State will be submitted to the Senate on Monday.
