Prisoner gambled wiLh others at Akuaku, and lost all 'his money. Next day (Tuesday) he was ' wandering about in a melancholy mood, and said it was a bad thing he had lost the money of his friend. ■ On 'Wednesday hight he left Akuaku in the direction of Mataahu, and could »ot avoid passing Mataahu in order to get to Rehorua, which was his home.
