FROZEN MEAT TRADE. NEW STEAMERS. London, March 23.
The Shaw, Savill and Albion Shipping Co., the New Zealand Shipping Co., Tyser and Co., and Frederick Martin and Coi, in view of opposition in the shape of the Imperial and Colonial Trading Company of Liverpool, are securing additional steamers for the New Zealand frozen meat trade. It is probable the abovementioned tirmswill combine to establish freezing stores si'v Manchester, Livetpool, and Glasgow.
