A STORMY BANKRUPTCY MEETING.

Palmerstom North, March 23. At a meeting of creditors in trie estate of cL. Alhn^ham, bootmaker (in which G. Foster, McArthur and Co., antf Bull and Uo., all of Auckland, are the principal creditors), several stormy scones took place between Mr. T. Hull, storekeeper, .md the bankiupt. It is only about twelve months since the bankrupt reueivod his discharge, and he was then oenfeured for not k> eping a ca u h-book. L'he bankrupt admitted he kept no uccouni •)t his cash transactions. A motion to do without a public examination was carried, >ut the Deputy Official Assignee did not igree with thin, and stated that unless the "ankrupt gave him a full account of his •ash receipts and expenditure, he would nave him publicly examined on his own account.
