Name and Address in full of Applicant: John Squiuukll, Shaftosbury. St3*le under .vhich it is intended, to conduct the business : Oceana Gold and tiiver Mining Company. Locality where the Land applied for is situated : Waiorongomai. Bounded on the south by the New Era, bounded on the east by Fergusson's Special Claim, on the north by unoccupied ground, on the west by unoccupied ground and Bismarck. Extent of land applied for: Fifteen acres. Amount of capital proposed to be invested : Five hundred pounds. Proposed mode of working the land : Driving and tunnelling, Term for which License or Special-claim grant is required : Twenty-one years. General remarks : Pegged out March 11th at onep.m,, pegs marked — Datpd at Te Aroha this 13th day of March, 1889. The above application and any objections will be heard at the Warden's Ofh'ce, at Te Aroha, on 16th April 18S9, at 10 a.m. Any person desiring to object to the issue of a license for the land applied for must, before that date, enter his objections at the Warden* Office at Te Aroha. 11.
