CHILDREN'S FROCKS.
We give illustrations of two simple patterns of childrcns' dresses. No lis a sailor dress suitable for either a lifctle boy, or girls up to 11 or 12. Ib is easily made and looks well in blue sorge. The skirt is pleated,
and has three rows of narrow braid. The body is made with a sailor collar as shown, and an imitation singlet sown to the dress on one side and buttoning on the other. No. 2is equally simple and needs little explanation. It is a neat, pretty,
and simple style of frock for little girls of from four to seven years old. The sash is of course separate from the frock, the attractiveness of which is much improved by a trimming of inexpensive lace as shown. According to the testimony of Mr Teignmouth Shore, who has charge of the religious instruction of the three daughters of the Princess of Wales, the Princess is most anxious that her girls should devote the utmost attention and reverence to his teaching. ' I wish all mothers were as anxious,' he sayp. ' I don't know anyone who has taken the pain? to secure the systematic religious intruction of their children which the Princess has.'
