FINANCIAL PANIC IN PARIS. Paris, March 9.
In connection with the Comptoi r d'Escompte the whole assets are given as security to the Bank of France, besides the associated bankers' guarantee of 20,000,000 The crisis affected the shares of the leading banks. It is believed that the Comptoir is deeply involved. The excitement over the copper syndicate has been allayed.
