Te Aroha and Ohinemuri News Office, Friday.

Mr J. McNicol reports as follows— Sale at Te A'-oha : The furniture the property of Messrs Burnett Bros., brought good prices. About hulf ton Wnikato fruit realised as follows : plums, 2d to2sd lb ; apples, l£d to2£d; pears, 2<i to 3d. Honey, 4d per lib section. About 20 dairy cows realised from £2 10s to £4 2s sd. Vehicles ; double buggy, £21 10*; do., do., £15 10s : tsingle do., £10. Harness : side saddles, £2 10s and upwards ; raens saddles and hi idles all prices. Horses: about 80 horses were offered. A few good coach horses brought from £10 to £15 ; light hacks averaged from £3 toe£6 ; weeds, all piices ; draughts about £10.

THAMES CATTLE MARKET. At Fleming and Co.'s weekly sale of fat cattle which was held on 6th inst at their yards, Parawai, Thames. They report the usual compliment of steers, heifers, and cows were yarded and realised satisfactory prices to the seller. Steers ranging from £3 15s to £5 7s 6d each, equal to 13s 6d to 14s 6d per 100 ; cows at trom £3 to £4 17s 6d each, equal to 12s to 13s per 100 ; heifers at from £2 10s to £3 17s 6d eaoh, equal to 12s 6d to 14s per 100, a full market of sheep and lambs were penned, and all sold freely ; wethers, 1 0s 3d to 11s each ; ewes, 8s 9d to 9s 6d each ; lambs, 6s to 8s 9d each. CjK 2s Bil ; potatoes, £6 ss, and oaten chaff, £3 14s per ton.

LIVE STOCK MARKET. Messrs A. Buckland and Sons' Weekly report. — At the hide and skin sa'e on Tuesday, hide 5'5 ' were in full numbers, and kept the advance noted in last week's re port. Ox hides sold from 3|d to 4fd ; cow hides, 2|d to 2£d ; calf skins, 3id to 5d per 1b ; fat and tallow, 8s to 15s per cwt ; pelts, Is to 'is 5d each ; fleece wool, 6£d to 6§d ; LiHibK wool. 6^d per lb. At Keinuera on Thursday the heifers adver tised sold satisfactorily, and brought from 65s to 88s each ; Rtore cattle in moderate number kept their values, Fat cattle in full number and of excellent quality, sold freely at last week's values until about two-thirds had been sold, prices then fell 10s each, but on a draft of 20 steers being withdrawn prices rallied to the conclusion of the sale and prices for those sold ranged for steers from 15s to 17s ; and for cows and heifers from 12s to 13s 6d per 1001b; fat calves in full number sold irregularly but fairly kept their values ; fat sheep in full nutnber realised as follows : — wethers, from 11s to 13-4 6d ; ewes, 8s to 12s 6d each ; lambs in usual numbers were of better worth and brought from 8s to 12s 6d each ; pigs, although a good class were dull of sale ana brought about 3 1 per lb dead weight.
