M, Goblet explains that the bombardment of Segallo, in the Red Sealittotal, by the French Admit al, was ordered because the "free Cossack," Atchmoff, hoisted the Russian flag, and refused to depart from the country when requested by the French authorities. M. Gob'et adds that the Russian Government will not support the action of Atchinoff. Russia lias accepted the French determination to send M. Atchinoff's expedition back to Suez.
