The English wheat market is steady, Continental unchanged and American inclined to buoyancy. For Australian cargoes of the new crop, on the passage, sellers ask 39s 3d. Buyers offer 6d less. Colonial oats, common, 21s 6d, peas, 32s Gel. The rate forthiee months bills, is 2J per cent. At the tallow auction, 1975 casks were oflfeied and 500 sold. Mutton, medium, 25s 6d ; beef, 24s 6d.
