HIS FOLLOWERS INCREASING. Opotiki, February 21.

Te Koobi and two hundred followers left Rohau, a settlement outside Whakatano, ior Waimona. They will arrive here on Friday. While at the settlement yesterday, Mr Bush, accompanied by the Inspector of Police, Mr Goooall, interviewed Te Kooti on behalf of the Government, and endeavoured to persuade him to return, but to no purpose. The number of Te Kooti's followers is fast increasing, as the natives from the surrounding country are joining him. Mr Bush, Inspector (Joodall, and a constable arrived here yesterday morning for the purpose of preserving the peace.
