Tenders were opened to-day for the Victorian loan of three millions, at 3^2 per cent. There were 370 tenderers, and six and a-balf millions were subscribed. The largest tender was for and the highest price offered was 2s 6ri, and the lowest The tenderers at £tos 2s receive 20 per cent. The official average is 6*. The loan is aheady quoted ai a premium of y%.
