Mr Greenwood, formerly editor of the "Si James' Gazette," asserts that Prince Bismarck attempted to nobble that paper. He (Mr Greenwood) resigned because he was not allowed to puisue an independent policy with regard to Germany. Count Steinkaff, the present proprietor of the journal, denies that Germany had any hold on the paper.
