A lar^e meeting of mandarins will be held hoio at an cavly date, when Mr (^uong Tart, a well-known merchant of Sydney, will be requested to state his views on the treatment of Chinese in Australia, and to suggest a method of equitably settling tho difficulty. The Chinese question has temporarily ceased to excite public attention, owing to tho prejiavations being made for the Emperors mairiage.
