Crisis in New South Wales. Sydney, January 9.

In the House of Assembly, this evening, Mr Want, who brought the former charges against Mr .Fehon, one of the Hallway Committee, moved the adjournment of the House, in order to complain of the manner in which the Government had conducted tiie inquiry. He contended that the inquiiy was not a proper one, and reiterated the charges made on a former occasion. Ho made a long statement of" the charges which he, considered the Government should inquiie into and explain. Mr Want made out a strong case, and mHuenced the- members on both sistie of iho House, who called on the Pro mier to explain. Sir Henry Parked declined to do this, and left the Chamber during the discus sion, and only returned as the division was being taken on Mr Want's motion for adjournment, which was carried by oT to 23. Immediately the result was announced Sir Henry L'arkes wired to His Excellency tht Governor, who is on a vis>it to Mossvaie, asking him when he would return. It is believed in certain quarters that the Premioi com ted defeat-, as he is disgusted with the recent disclosui e.s, and intends to lesign.
