AN AUSTRALIAN VOLCANO Adelaide, December 24.
Lindsay, the explorer, confirms the statements recently made as to the existence of an active volcano to the north of Lake Amadens. Lindsay locates the mountain at about 200 miles north-west of Alice Springs telegraph station, on the overland line at Porfc Darwin, and states that the natives say it "growls" and throws up stones and sand.
