MASONIC, INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS, LODGE TE AROHA.

A mhetikg of the brethren of the Lo<lge Te Aroha was held on Thursday evening last for Ihe annual installation of officers. There was a large attendance, the Hall being crowded, and amongst those present were many from the Thames and other districts. Bro, T. L. Murray (Thames) acted in the capacity of installing officer, assisted by Bro. D. M. Reid, P. M., also of the Thames. The following officers were installed for the ensuing year : — Bro. 0. S. Pyne, R.W.M. ; Bro. F. Pavitt, 1.P.M., architect ; Bro. A. A. Smith, S.W. ; Bio. W. Hetherington, J.W. ; Bro. J. A. Dobson, P.M., secretary and treasurer ; Bro. ft. Cannell, S.W. ; Bro. Geo. Ebert, J.D. ; Bro. D. Wallace, 1.G. ; Bro. H. Newton, tyler ; Bro. E. W. Hanmer, organist. After the ceremony concluded, which was of a most imposing character, refreshments were served and a very pleasant hour was spent bv all nresent.
