MURDER OF A WOMAN. A SCOTCH JACK THE RIPPER. London, December 19.
On September 23 a woman named Jane Bechmoor was murdered at Lethoen, Roxburgh, having been subbed in the abdomen and other places. A man, William Waddell, who was arrested and subsequently sentenced to death, has now confessed his tfuilt.
