While ab Paeroa, bhe Minister of Minos was interviewed by the Chairman and councillors ot Ohinemuri County Council when he promised the following grants for works in that district :— Mackaytown Battery Road^ deviation, £1000 ; Komata Swamp, £200 j Te Aroha Road, £100'; Rangiora Road, £20 ; Wailri bridge £250, The latter Work will be immediately 'started. The Marototo Road grant of £I,ooo' is 1 cancelled. "The Minister arrived at Te Aroha to-day.
